What is purpose of VIrtual Method?

What is purpose of VIrtual Method? Can I override method in derived class without marking it as virtual in base class?

Hi swaraj Virtual method are method that is defined intended to override by derived class and its not mandatory to override it. you can override method in derived class only and only if it is an abstract(method without body) or virtual. Abstract methods can be defined in interface and abstract class only. you can read more about virtual method here
