Hi friend usually we use table tag to do most of the layout things in HTML. but what if you want an region(for e.g. To show some message or any image or anything like that) on the html page. In such situations we use DIV tag. well its independent can be placed anywhere. we can apply CSS or javascript to that DIV tag. In very simple manner we can say DIV defines a region on html page you want to use. Thanks
