What is the reason that we use Date in header in web page?

Hi Joe The purpose of the date in the header of the page is show the current date to the user .It is to make user friendly to show the date day of the week . In case user forget the date time  day of the week the web page will show date and time automatically .

Your question is not clear . Based on understanding you are asking why to put date in header . Putting date to the header gives user the current date time when it is accessed .
