what to do for faster execution in vb.net

our vb.net forms took too much time to load when compared to vb6 what to do for faster execution. We are using DevExpress tool in our project does it make our system slow?

hi thank you so much can u tell me the predifined guide lines one has to see the code. as i am telling abt the whole project i cant send a small code ...when i try to execute my vb.net windows applicationusing devexpress tool when i click any master or transaction form...first it took lots of time to load....then second time it comes fast.....what to do
