What type of Index will get created after executing the statement?

Hi Plz explain it. CREATE INDEX myIndex ON myTable (myColumn) What type of Index will get created after executing the above statement? Thanks

Hi When you create the primary key then it will create the clustered index automatically. You can have only one clustered index per table in sql server since you can have only one primary key. when you say explicitly CLUSTERED INDEX then it will create the clustered index. Other wise it will create the non clustered index.
