What's the puropose of putting a row GUID?

Hi In adventure works i have see row GUIDs. Whats the purpose of a row GUID and what it can be used for? TY

well the very idea of GUID is to enable Uniqeidentifiers meaning that there is no row that has the same Key while INT is uncertine unless you indicate that its a key that is automaticly seeded

Friend  GUID Means Globally Unique Identifier Example ( 3F2504E0-4F89-11D3-9A0C-0305E82C3301) GUID is used to create 32 Character Unique value . so its usage is to create Primary Key Column in Database :) Now whats the purpose of using GUID because we can create Primary Key with Integer Also ?? well the examination about it is Integer have some limitation that it can create Limited values While GUID is made using Alpha numeric thing .. it can create a lot more number of unique values than Integer can ..
