What's wrong with this code ?

i think you should try this And you must check all other parameters for null value. If it null you must pass DBNull.Value value. SqlParameter unitsParam = command . Parameters . AddWithValue ( "@units" , units ); if ( units == null ) { unitsParam . Value = DBNull . The value of Code is null in parameter and in database it seems it must have value. Pass appropriate value in code and your problem will resolve.

before passing parameter you can check like this if (Code== null ) Code= "" cmd.Parmeters.AddWithValue( "@Code" ,Code);
