i have two fields .......

house no & area

1-1-1 to 1-1- EOB = areaname1.

1-2-1 to 1-2-78 = areaname2 .
1-3-50 to 1-3-70 = areaname3.

i wan code like this...

i have two textboxs......
when i entered house no in first text box display area name in second textbox....

ex- when i entered house no: textbox1 1-1-30 textbox2 shows as areaname1
1-2-1 textbox2 shows as areaname2

Well the code I posted earlier should deal with the three ranges you gave in your original post. However it's easy to extend it to deal with different or additional ranges. Based on what you've said so far we now have the following 4 ranges: 1-1-1 to 1-1-EOB 1-2-1 to 1-2-EOB (rather than 1-2-1 to 1-2-78) 1-3-50 to 1-3-70 2-1-1 to 2-1-EOB (areaname4) Can you confirm that this is correct and complete and I'll adjust the code accordingly.
