when i run the code shows error

when i run the above shows error as follows

  Incorrect syntax near '='.

  The above error shows in below line as follows

 reader = cmd.ExecuteReader();

please help me what is the mistake in my above query

The cause looks like in this line of code. You have most of the code written like this. that is the issue. cmd is an object of SQLCommand class. You cannot append string to object of SQLCommand class. cmd.CommandText=cmd+ Try appending it like this. Not ice that there should be space left before you start your query. cmd.CommandText+=  Your query Please mark it as an answer if it addresses the issue.

Hi Rao You need to test your query on sql editor then use in c# code. Hi do one thing put your code in debug mode and get the query which you are trying to execute. and execute the query through sql you will come to know the exact error point.
