When we should use the AWS Lambda?

Actually we have AWS Lambda is the compute service. But we some more service given by AWS like AWS EC2 So I want to know when to use the AWS Lambda.

But I think fifth point is wrong. because as per AWS we don't have control over it.

If your goal is to save some bucks it's for you. 1)you can run code for virtually any type of application or backend service - all with zero administration. 2)You pay only for the compute time you consume - there is no charge when your code is not running. 3)AWS Lambda executes your code only when needed and scales automatically. 4)Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud service may provide some good offers. 5)you retain ownership and full control over it(Amazon EC2) which other cloud platform you may not get it.
