Which datatype to use in database when browsing the file using form

Hello I am Peggie. I would like to ask when browsing the file and upload to the database which datatype shld be use? One thing to take note is that I would like to upload files instead of images. Thanks.

Write one Function whose return type as as byte of Array and then use it some thing like this its in vb C# Code has given below. You can convert the file to a byte array and store it in a varbinary(max)
