Which is the best to work either HTML 5 or Silverlight 5

Question

I need to know future development in Silverlight 5 since HTML 5 is in progress and would be 100% available after couple of months for all browsers. Is there Microsoft SilverLight 5 development happened? Which is the best to work either HTML 5 or Silverlight 5 in near future for our web projects?

Stay away from Silverlight 5. Silverlight has no future. HTML 5 is the future.
