which page load event fired first in asp.net

in interview i face a interviwer ask me in asp.net as two page load in aspx page and another one in aspx.cs file which one fired first can any one help me

In your case aspx page load will fire first and cs file page load will be ignored. Try this: aspx code: protected void Page_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { Response.Write(aspx); } CS File public partial class General : System.Web.UI.Page { protected void Page_Load(object sender EventArgs e) { Response.Write(cs); } } Try to place break point in aspx and cs you can find it easily.

Francis sir i was confused . i was always thinking that cs page load first but never try to debug in this case but now after checking apsx page load fire first thanks
