Why an extension is added while publishing a site

Question

When i tried to publish a website i see some extension for each and every file that was published why it is happening

<%@ page language="C#" autoeventwireup="true" inherits="Default4, App_Web_oq3urubu" %>

You can see the extension

App_Web_oq3urubu

Why this is happening for each and every page. What should i d in order to rectify this.

Hi after publishing to some folder i specified i am getting this errors so i deleted the dll's from that folder should i open that files again in the application or what?

delete the dll files(App_web_oq3urubu)....then Build the application and run it. go through this link Link2 hope it help you...

Hi Jitendra after deleting if i delete that extensions will my file works.. I tired as per you say but i am getting an error as Server Error in '/' Application. Hi Dorababu Check the all folders in your application..(dll file with this is located somewhere). App_web_* all are dll's.. When you Copy/paste the project files from one Computer to other computer these dll's are added to inherits property.. (these all dll's are created because of bad publishing the application or Bad configuration in IIS.) So delete this type of dll from your application and remove these names from inherits property also... hope it help you...
