Why Developers hate meetings?

I am writing a blog on developers and meetings. I would like to know your thoughts on two things. Do you hate meetings? If yes what is the reason? Thank you!

Hi Most of the time meeting give us clear vision about the requirement and help us to reduce development effort in term of rework.... I like meeting...:)

Hi Mahesh I would like to do meetings on regular basis. It helps to know to each other who is doing what  It also improves the communication skills which help in talking with the clients. Thanks Nilesh
