why instance created as 'Employee' in linq?

I dragged table named 'Employees' in .dbml file so why its instance created as 'Employee' ?

Hi Abbas The reason is this: If we have a Employees table we consider each row as a employee so the table itself is a collection of employees.

A table is a single collection of employee here so its create a single instance.

Sorry I meant VS. EF is Entity Framework which does the same.

A table is a collection of employees but a single instance is an employee. EF detects this and adjusts it whenever possible.
