why send email using C# take longer time

hello all my question iswhy send email using C# take much longer time to be accepted by the receiver than using gmail or yahoo.mail ? thank you denny

When you send mail using your Own Application ..it First resolves the smtp Server IP . Connects to SMTP Server .Then your Application Sends Mail to Mail Acceptor .. While you use gmail . the application already on the system where mail has to be sent its their own server ...so its faster then our application.
