why we override the parent method in Child Class???

One of the interviewer asked me.

It is basically used to extend or modify the initial functionality of parent class. So that we can modify the functionality of same method with context to child class. simple example is area method of shapes while in child classes we extend the functionality according to the child class implementation eg: for square we will use public override area() { return side *side; } while in rectangle we will use public override area { return length * width; } I hope you understand.

Bro......... It is necessary override the parent method.Why we can't create another method in child class for execution.what is need for overriding parent method. and one more thing. abstract class has a constructor then why we can't create instance.

only can override parent methods into child so that. If you not give override keyword can not override.
