This is an old post. We had this $500 cash prize per month but removed it. Many members were posting replies for no reason. They had multiple logins posting questions and answering and accepting themselves. It DID NOT work out so we removed it.

Prizes will be announced at end of the month. Before we finalize the prizes we will go through answers to ensure that answers qualify for actual cash prize. This we MUST do to keep forums clean.

I am concerned. If the future repeats the past then programmers will post an abundance of problems they should be answering themselves and members will try to answer them so they can get points. The forums will be flooded with answers that are quite fundamental and not of much value to others.

oops.. grr.. i even not checked the date before posting. Nowadays we have lots of spamming happening here. Last day Mahesh deleted couple of threads. How will we stop this in an efficient way.
