Windows App'n without DB install in client systm

Hi friends I have developed a windows app'n and i need to install the software into the clients system is it necessary to install Sqlserver into client's PC? for 10MB of Soft is it necessary to install 3GB of SqlServer??? is der any alternate sol to solver this kind of prob? You could tell your customers / users that they need SQL Server and then if they don't have it they could install it.
