Windows service in windows 2008 R2

We having a windows service which fetches 100 records from database andpost a message to MSMQ private queue.It is working fine in windows 2003.
When the same application is moved to windows 2008 , the message is not getting posted to private queue.but if we stop the service then the message is posted to the queue.Is there any solution to this
