WIndows service

Question

Hi I am trying to create a windows service (Timer) which will call a webservice at a certain time elapse . I have followed the procedure as per the sample .but cannot get the windows service to register in the services .. Anyone with suggestions or quick check points . Thanks in advance Swetha

Dear friends I have a requirement to call a webservice through a windows service which should be able to execute the webmethod every 5 mins. EventLog.WriteEntry(BEFORE WEBSERVICE CALL------------------); JobRunWebService.ExchangeDataSuper exchange =new JobRunWebService.ExchangeDataSuper(); EventLog.WriteEntry(Exchange Object Created------------------); JobRunWebService.RealTimeServerLoginService objJob = new JobRunWebService.RealTimeServerLoginService(); EventLog.WriteEntry(webserviceCALL------------------); exchange.RequestContent=QueueTransaction; EventLog.WriteEntry(QueueTransaction------------------); objJob.RequestQueue(exchange); EventLog.WriteEntry(RequestQueue------------------); EventLog.WriteEntry(End of WEBSERVICE CALL------------------); The service doesnt execute the RequestQueue WebMethod .
