Follow the steps: Create a console Application and read the configurable values from the app.config file Create a scheduler job in the windows environment using Task scheduler Refrence: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-schedule-batch-file-run-automatically-windows-7 Now set the Time of execution Task scheduler will trigger your console application on periodic time and that console application will read the configurable value from app.config.
