Windows + threading

Question

I have a form with a button . when i click the button i want to make a thread with another form and close the first form. Is that possible ?? how ?

Further to your other post on the Windows Forms forum I thought I'd just confirm that starting a new thread won't help with this problem - as soon as the startup form is closed the application will end.
