Hello How to prevent second opened form from closing when user types in main form?User typing in first form will watch second form fields dynamically. Thanks in advance

Hope you are trying to prevent closing until the user actually wish to close. for that you can handle the closing event using the following code snippet. void Form2_FormClosing(object sender FormClosingEventArgs e) { if(!(form1 as Form1).checkBox1.Checked) e.Cancel = true; } Regards Selva Ganapathy K

I don't know why that should be so unless you have code in Form2 which automatically minimizes it when it loses input focus. But if you handle its Resize event as follows it should pop-up again if there's any attempt to minimize it: private void Form2_Resize(object sender EventArgs e) { if (this.WindowState == FormWindowState.Minimized) { this.WindowState = FormWindowState.Normal; } }

I may be missing something here but as long as you've opened the second form using Show() rather than ShowDialog() then the user will be able to move the input focus back to the main form without the need to close the second form first.
