Winforms editing and updating??

Question

hi all i have taken a datagridview to display my data after that i want to edit and update the databut how to get textboxes in datagridview and update the data as we do in asp.net webforms??plz help me on thisthanks.

In a new project with an empty form first go to the Data Soruces view/window and create a data source for your data. Then with the form in design view drag the node for your table from the data source to the form. The IDE will by default create a DataGridView with a BindingNavigator toolbar with code to fill the DataGridView and edit the data. The BindingNavigator toolbar will have a save button. Build the application and try it. You can see the data and update it all without writing any of your own code. The only thing it does not do that I think it should do is it does not prompt you to save the data if the data has been changed. There is of course millions of other things you can do in addition to all that but try doing just as much as I have described so far.

In windows form you can provide column types according to your data in database like ComboBox  Checkbox Column etc .. and you can Directly Update Date by Double Clicking any cell in dataGridView .. you just need to write code of Updating data in database ..
