Workflow not getting started in SP library

Question

Hi We have a SharePoint Approval workflow which is supposed to start whenever anyone publishes a file in SP library. It works fine when users publish one file at a time. However when multiple files are published together the workflow is not initiated. Is there any setting which needs to be changed for multiple files checked in together? Thanks in advance.

If you are using the System Account to perform this multiple files publishing then workflow will not work (reason it will not work with system account).

I was checking this article and think it might have to do something with these settings. We are not initiating more than 15 workfows at a time so I don’t think it throttle size but might be something else. http://www.sharepointfire.com/2015/04/increase-sharepoint-workflow-performance-and-reliability/ I am still clueless on what setting needs to be changed before I make that change.

i publish it by top menu -> Files -> Check In -> Publish as Major version

Vijay Are you sure that you are able to publish multiple files at once in the normal scenario? or you are using  http://server / _layouts/sitemanager.aspx to publish multiple files as bulk?
