Writing to the Event Logger

Question

I am trying to come up with a good way to handle exceptions on a standalone application which is on a background thread. I was thinking of writing to the windows event logger. Can someone give me assistance.

How to override the security admin issue. I want the user to run whether they are a admin or not. Basically Ii have a standalone background thread that has a call back. If the callback errors out I don't won't to throw an error. I simply want catch save the error and write error to th event logger whether the user is an admin or not

If you're not doing so already try 'Run as administrator'.
