Hi frnds This is the interview qus But didnot understand tht wt interviewer asked me When i click on browser like google.com/home/user In mvc5

google.com/home/user google.com - it is hostname like yahoo.com or gmail.com home - it is controller name user - it is action name Above is as per basic routing pattern. You can change it as per your need in routeConfig.cs file. When you browse above URL, MVC controller check routing table. If your URL matches with defined routing pattern then it process otherwise it throws 404 file not found.
