Hi Riya There is no separate coding for reading and writing files in MonoDroid. Just you can use the below code string path = Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.Personal); string filePath = Path.Combine(path test.txt); To Read: using (var file = File.Open(filePath FileMode.Append)) { using (var strm = new StreamWriter(file)) { strm.Write(Contents to write to the test file); } } To Write: using (var file = File.Open(filePath)) { using (var strm = new StreamReader(file)) { ........ } }
