xmlDataProvider Issues

Question

This is what I have I not able to populate the listbox. Any Help? This is wht I have in my Window.Resources Source=/Database/Recipe.xml XPath=Tables/Table/> Source={StaticResource Recipe}> Direction=Ascending/> This is my XML http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance > 117 16/20 Shrimp Box 3 4 0.00347222222222222 PULL 3 This is what I'm using to bind to the listbox DisplayMemberPath=Station ItemsSource={Binding Source={StaticResource CallRecipes}} Width=305/> Where did I go wrong? Thanks

Hi Just try changing the Source=/Database/Recipe.xml XPath=Tables/Table/> to Here in XPATH it should be like XPath=Rootnode/Collectionnode. For your code snippet rootnode=NewDataSet1 and collectionsnode=Tables. In listbox try this code. ItemsSource={Binding Source={StaticResource CallRecipes}XPath=Table} > Hope this would help you Regards Raaj

I figure it out Change Expander Header to binding and Clean up the code and it works. I do have more questions since I'm still trying to understand. Is it possible when a user clicks on the one expander control the other expanders close? any thoughts? Thank You

Some progress This is what I have so far. If anyone wants to jump in and help That would great! The XML Data is: http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance > 117 16/20 Shrimp Box 3 4 0.00347222222222222 PULL 3 My Filter/Sorting XAML is Source=Database/Recipes.xml XPath=NewDataSet1/Table> Source={StaticResource Recipe}> My ListBox Style: My ListBox Binding: ItemsSource={Binding Source={StaticResource CallRecipes}} HorizontalAlignment=Right Width=243.5> What currently I have is a Listbox the Expander Control populates but no header. I cant build it crashes Any thoughts?

Thank you Still some issues If I Take XPath=Table out it populates the box. If I change the TextBox Binding to Station it populates the list with doubles(no filter on the collection). Thank you very close. Ideally I want the Stations to be in a expander tool and when expanded the recipes of that station would populate. Any Thoughts?
