drawing animation

Question

I would like to draw a circle and move it smoothly across the panel - sort of like a puck on the air hockey game. For my first try I drew the circle drew over it in the background color then I drew again in its new location. It is not very smooth. Is there a mechanism for this animation already set up.

try to use double buffering method it may work also show that part of the code so we can test it and give u the best way to do it

Ya  You can achive this Using Threading + Paint method like Java Applet.
