Related to National Instruments Teststnad 3.5

Question

Hi everyone First of all this is not related to C#...I was just wondering if anyone would know how I can perform the following task. I use NI teststand to automate hardware testing. I mostly save my teststand sequence results in a text file. I write variable values from different instruments using labview....sometime I save results in different text file .... I was wondering if anyone would know how i can save the results in excel file and in different sheets with appropriate names Any thoughts? Thanks for the help

I understand what you mean. What you have given me that I can do by adding reference into Visual C# Class library project and then initialize it. Is it possible for me to create a separate class library project add a reference of excel build it as class library dll..and then in Teststand I can call that method from dll and it will do the work for me?

you have to add a reference to Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel and then use this library then you can instanciate Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application ExlObj = new Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Application(); And then you can define a Workbook collection Workbook wbook = ExlObj.Workbooks.Add(arguments here if necessary); Worksheet ws = (Worksheet)wbook.Worksheets[1];
