Send mail automatically

hi
i m developing a website. i have to send reminder mails automaticaly.
the task is any user can set a time to send him reminder. and when that time comes , mail is to be sent automatically.for example  a user set a time 12:15pm 10september 2012 ,mail should sent at 12:15pm 10 september 2012.can anyone help me?

Hi,

Note that when you use the HH will give the date difference in hours. But it needs something like entire different between two dates.

I think get the seconds or minutes and find the differences, so you can calculate the actual time different by diving the minutes.
