Shifting from .Net to IOS app(Iphone)

Hello friends one of my friend has asked me some advice for future.. as he was searching for a job on .net from past 8 months.. but now he wants to learn IOS development course. as mobile technology is in great demand.. what should i advice him. pls tell me what to do..

I just want to start with this question: What happened if IOS Developement also not have any scope?. Don't think i'm discourge. Be practical! He already spent 8 months in .Net then why he wants to shift? Then what is the purpose of 8 months? Since he had spent some time with .Net i hope that he learn a lot about .Net. Also advice him he must have Never Give up attitude. First settle with .Net. If he shift this time he needs more time to learn IOS concepts also it will kill another 6 months or more. Hope this helps!
