When does the summit start?

Question

I think the MINDCRACKER MVP SUMMIT 2011 count-down clock in the home page is saying the summit starts at 5:30 AM on April 16 (in the India timezone) yet the summit starts on the 15th. So I am a little confused. It does not matter to me; I am just curious.

We fixed it. It was correct for Indian users. It was taking user's local time. Now set based on GMT.

It probably is a timezone thing. There might be a conversion being done that is not supposed to be done. Right now it says: 01 Days 21 Hours 05 Minutes 09 Seconds Click Yet it is 8:25 AM in India. For me to convert my local time to India time I add 12.5 hours. I suspected there was an inaccuracy from the beginning but I was not sure. Probably the reason it was not noticed is because (according to Karthik ) for most everyone the timer is accurate.

Hi Sam I think its showing correctly here... we can see the right timing of 1day and 9 hours which is around 5pm by april 15th.

Good catch Sam! Thanks for noticing it. It is wrong. It was supposed to be 5:00 PM INDIA time. I will have Manish fix it first thing in the morning!
