Data warehouse sizes between 10 or 100 gigabyte of data. In network computing era, the increasing amounts of data that companies are storing will push the data warehouse size into tetra byte and virtually everyone can be connected to the net. In the past, analysts were practically the only ones, using the data warehouse, but network computing environments are now changing the user profile. Today, many employees need to have daily access to the critical data in a data warehouse.
